Is it safe to use soft meals on DMT stones?

Generally speaking, soft metals such as brass and iron are okay to use on a diamond stone.

We would not recommend using a soft metal like lead on a diamond stone.

There are worries that softer metal can clog diamond stones with metal swarf. If you do find that the stone begins to clog with metal swarf, use some mild detergent and brush to clean.
