Older versions of the PhysiciansCare eyewash bottle included an attachable eyecup stored in a plastic bag hanging from the neck of the bottle. This plastic eyecup could be screwed on to the top of the bottle and then placed against the eye. (See photo: bottle on right is the attached eyecup design)
Based on feedback from our customers, we have redesigned these bottles to be more functional in the case of an emergency and are now used without an attached eyecup. Specifically, there is now a plastic insert in the neck of the bottle that helps to narrow and direct a stream of fluid directly into the eye. (See photo: bottle on left is the current plastic insert design)
We believe the improvements can help users of our eyewash to quickly react to emergency/ first aid scenarios, as well as help to thoroughly irrigate the eye by flushing away any irritants or particles.
Please note that the plastic eyecup designed bottles are no longer available, and that the plastic eyecups are not sold separately.
Instructions for Use:
- Screw off cap of eyewash bottle.
- Hold eyewash bottle above eye(s) and direct stream manually into the affected eye(s).
- Keep eye(s) open allowing complete contents of bottle to fully irrigate any irritants or particles from eye(s).
- Discard any remaining solution as this is a single-use eyewash product.
