How can I tighten the screw on the Clauss Hot Forged 12.5" Bent Trimmer #11360?

On the fulcrum of the Clauss Hot Forged 12.5" Bent Trimmer has a threaded hole in the large ring side. This threaded hole acts as the lock nut for the screw at this fulcrum.

To adjust the tension or tighten the screw for this model, we recommend first loosening the lock nut.

Then adjust the pivot screw- either loosen or tighten until there is a smooth action for the blades and you can open and close the trimmer easily. Then hold the pivot screw in this new position, and tighten the the lock nut.
