How do you change the batteries of Westcott Blooms Ruler #14728 ?

Please see the photo below for instructions on how to remove the batteries from item 14278-001. 

           

Please note this ruler take two batteries that fit into the ruler compartment snugly. They can be installed by hand but can only be removed with a small pointed took such as an awl or paper clip. 

The batteries needed for this ruler are battery number Energizer 357/303  although there are some alternative numbers that will fit this item. The replacement batteries that are found inside of the packages today are type AG13.
