How do I replace the cutting strip on my Westcott Rotary Paper Trimmer #15482?

Please see the directions below for replacing the cutting strip on item 15482 (Westcott 12" TrimAir Titanium Bonded Rotary Paper Trimmer.)

1. Make sure that the tabs on either side of the cutting strip are unlocked by sliding them upwards. (Please note that the diagram below shows the tabs in the locked position)

 

2. Using a flat item (we suggest a ruler) gently push the cutting strip out from under the metal bar, sliding in the direction of the cutting surface

 

3. Once you’ve removed the old cutting strip, insert the replacement strip by sliding it under the metal bar.
4. Before cutting, be sure to slide the tabs on either side of the cutting strip back to the lock position (see step 1)
