What materials are used in the Westcott Magnetic Ruler #15990?

Item 15990, Westcott 12" magnetic ruler contains iron powder mixed with a flexible plastic, which is then magnetized and printed.

15990 is not a precise measuring tool, and although flexible it can be creased and cracked if folded too far.  The straight edge can curve or warp after awhile if it is not stored flat.
